“A lot of Framer templates use premium custom fonts or paid stock images. If you’re using that template for a commercial website, you need to make sure you actually have a license for every asset in it.”

“Consistency across products. Active, legitimate sellers usually have multiple templates with consistent quality. If someone has only one template and hasn’t posted anything in two years… I’d be cautious.”

“Social proof outside the platform. Search the seller’s name on Twitter/X, LinkedIn, or YouTube. Do they have a community? Is anyone else talking about their work? That’s a signal they’re legit.”
